Just looking on the internet and in the media, we can find stories of many famous dyslexic people, with remarkable and inspiring stories which are great to know about. However, most of our children will succeed in a way that does not make them famous. Take a look at dyslexiahelp.umich.ed/success stories to see people from all walks of life telling you about their experience. Their successes will still serve as motivation for both yourself, as a parent, and your child.
